Blog Entry"Wala sa ayos"Oct 31, '07 7:08 AM
for everyone

...is my brother's favorite expression.

And I always tell him, "Kuya, merong mas maikli dyan." and he'll answer, "Magulo!" Yet he still uses the same "Wala sa ayos."

The expression reflects a part of who he is though. Confused with his life directions, he could not even make his own decisions. He ends up not listening to others suggestions and regrets his decisions.

Oh well, what I'm sure is that he's gonna be stuck here in Manila until February next year for his Navigational
Watch Officer-in-Charge (NWOIC) examinations.

He being here was so much fun. He is a no "kill-joy" brother. We laugh at his Visayan accent, we correct his grammar, and he makes his own "hirit" out of it.

His name is Anastacio Barola, my half-brother (father-side). When we were kids, we call him Tacio, and now he calls himself as Page. Why Page? He claims that his name should have been Paul James, as in P.J., as in Page daw. [I'm currently laughing with my bro as I type this.]

He already went to Hongkong, Japan, and more countries in Asia as he had his 1-year trip as a Seaman. There he spent all his money on gadgets -- SONY 10.1 megapixel touchscreen camera with spare battery and 4G memory card, SONY Portable DVD player, SONY cassette tape recorder, SONY Portable  mp3/mp4 player, Toshiba 4G USB drive, 120G Maxton External hardisk. [My ear swells as I hear each enumerated by Kuya.] Of all, he was kind enough to lend me his digital stuffs, and give me the cheap Ozaki speaker for my PC. Hahaha!

Now, just take a look at my picture-addict, no-look-alike brother. =P
